Welcome to WISI, Tore Landén our new technical support engineer!
Who are you?
I am 31 years old and was born in Sundsvall, a city located in central Sweden around 400 km north of Stockholm. I have always been interested in sports and outdoor activities; I go hiking at least twice a year, and spend many hours on the golf course trying to reduce my handicap, which is currently 6.2. In my spare time, I like to play computer games, but I also like chess. I enjoy the life of an epicurean and like to explore new food and drinks.
What is your background?
I studied Applied Physics and Electrical engineering, with a focus on mechatronics, at Linköping University. Before starting my university studies, I worked at a hotel in Sundsvall, and last year I performed systems simulation for a big defense industry actor in Sweden, by validating technical requirements.
What made you interested in working at WISI?
From my experience last year, I found that I appreciate technical problem solving, regardless of whether the requirements come from external or internal stakeholders. Herman Molinder, who joined the WISI Norden team in 2016, is a close friend of mine and when he talked about his experience and what he work with, I was very interested. I was looking for something technologically advanced to work with, and my search led me to WISI Norden.
What will you be doing here?
I will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of all types of products and services that our clients manage via WISI Connect. Together with my colleagues I want to make a difference, and contribute with my energy and technical support skills, helping operators and installers hands on.
